All editing is priced according to one of the following levels:
Proofread: checking for consistency in terms and names, checking spelling, punctuation and grammar; no reshaping or rewriting of content. Charged per page (275 words), per project or per 1000 words.
Copyedit: editing for flow and consistency, making suggestions for change, checking all content for accuracy; no reshaping or rewriting of content. Charged per project or per 1000 words.
Advanced copyedit and editorial report: a copyedit with full report on chapter by chapter basis and page by page basis where needed, plot and character analysis, suggestions for change, suggestions for reshaping and any other issues. Charged per project or per 1000 words.
Rewrite: making significant changes to the text, possibly including new content (to be discussed per project); rewriting significant amounts of text; reshaping content or plot order. Charged per project or per 1000 words.
Free sample edits (up to 1000 words) are available on all editing projects of 10,000 words or more, and sample edits of up to 500 words on all projects of up to 10,000 words. I will return the edited sample to you within three days with a detailed report and a recommendation on which type of editing it needs. Once you decide which level would best suit your project, I will send you a quote.
