Fiction & Drama
As well as journalism, I write fiction (short stories and novels) and drama (shorts and full length screenplays). The second edition of my novel Taste the Bright Lights was published in November 2010.
My new novel, Maybe Thursday You Can Sleep, is in progress and will be completed by December 2010. Preview here.
I am also working on a dystopian teenage novel about a country where the government decide to deal with youth crime by placing young people in pre-emptive custody - due to be finished mid 2011.
52, 53, 54 is a novel in progress about 53 year old Joyce who finally gets the courage up to leave her abusive university lecturer husband.
I have just adapted my critically acclaimed novel Taste the Bright Lights as a full length screenplay. Both are now represented by the Whitt Brantley Talent and Management literary agency in the US.
